Momberger Airport Information was established in 1973 by Karin and Manfred Momberger, who have been associated with civil aviation and aviation publishing since 1966. Both have a diploma degree in Foreign Studies from Mainz University in Germany. Manfred Momberger is the founding publisher of this news service and an advisory resource to Martin Lamprecht, the current publisher and managing editor.
Martin Lamprecht joined Momberger Airport Information as North American Editor and Webmaster in 2002. He has a Master's degree with specialization in commercial air transportation from the University of Regina in Canada and several undergraduate degrees from Marburg University, Germany. Martin has worked at airlines and airports since 1984, with a background in airline marketing and airport consultancy. In January 2009, Martin's company, Air Trans Source Inc., based near Toronto, Canada, acquired Momberger Airport Information and he holds the position of Publisher and Managing Editor.

Paul Ellis is our News Editor and a seasoned aviation researcher with decades of experience in this industry. A former military jet pilot, he has created and manages the popular Airline Industry Update, a leading free-access aviation data source and online airport / airline industry directory. Paul has an intimate knowledge of those tucked-away areas of the web that harbour vital airport industry information and data.
